Fu Sing Shark Fin Restaurant, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

Can you believe that it has taken me about 1 year to go Fu Sing for dim sum? I am definitely spoilt for choices when it comes for dim sum in Hong Kong, there’s the fancy dim sum like LKH or Man Wah (which I have to admit, I like) or the cheap dim sum like Tim Ho Wan. A friend was visiting from Tokyo, S and she wanted some Chinese food, and what better than have dim sum?

We started with the bbq pork – one of the best I have eaten, fatty and incredibly delicious. Even Dragon couldn’t resist.

The chicken was tender and ticked Dragon’s palate.

It was hard to eat just one cheung fan cooked with xo sauce. It was wonderful aromatic and tasty.

The har gow – prawn dumplings was plump and moreish. The pastry silky smooth.

You can never go wrong with pan fried dumplings.

The char siu bun was another favourite of Dragon.

We couldn’t go past the chicken feet – one of my favourites dim sum dishes.

The pork with black bean sauce was good but I have definitely had better.

S enjoyed the radish cake which was slightly deep fried.

We had mango pudding and mango sago for dessert which were great.

The food I really enjoyed, but then again, I haven’t really had bad dim sum in Hong Kong. Decor not so great but the service was polite and friendly. Would definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Sounds great! Just wish they would change their name a bit and stop serving shark fin!

Dragon has good taste! lol. And I feel empty inside if I haven’t had chicken feet at yum cha. Haha.
